I've owned many cars but I can't say a supra (though I have owned a camry ) I've never been stuck anywhere in the 2 rx7s I've owned and one was/is turbocharged and modified. Don't believe the hype guys.

Heres the problem. MANY people do not properly maintain their vehicles. Rotaries simply will not allow it. Most piston engines will last 100x longer if both are not maintained. Also, rotaries don't put up with overheating or preignition nearly as well as piston engines. Now if you keep things maintained (mostly just changing oil/coolant very regularly) and make sure you don't overheat or run lean you should be perfectly fine. I won't go and say all rotaries last 200k if properly maintained but there have been some that last 300k so it is possible. I also know that piston engines will last a bit longer usually no matter what, but rotaries are not as problematic as people think. Its mostly people that have never owned one or just never known how to properly maintain the one they have owned that spread the negative word. Just remember rotaries are actually MUCH simpler than piston ones, and no one can argue that.

As far as which to buy...buy the one you like the best
