given the problems with putting on an autocross (site acquisition, timing equipment, cones, etc.) I'd suggest that any TR Autocross event be co-sponsored with one of the local autocross clubs. I know that SCCA would welcome a group of TR members that wanted to try it out at Brooksville. Sunriders always welcomes anyone who wants to race and it's a great place to get started as you don't have much class confusion to deal with.
