Looking to possibley use this engine in a project, and since i don't know much about this engine i thought i would ask some of my friends here in TR.

I don't want to spend a fortune. I don't know how expensive a full package would run on something like this. And i don't know if someone here locally has experience tunning these engines. Is 300+ whp to lofty an expectation to have for a purely stock 3g from any of the 3 generations of engines? What kind of ball park am i looking at for getting everything i need to have a running breathing 3g with a drivetrain that can reliably put down the numbers? Is there a better alternative than the 3g for a 300+ whp fwd setup?
