I guess this year is going to be our attempt at going all out. At least this is the way it seems. Enjuku Racing is pulling as many resources as they can to make a full professional competitive level drifting effort in 2005, and they've asked me to be part of it. In searching for a second driver who would fit the part perfectly, Rob Fleming (garage battle) is our second driver. We've been driving together for quite a few years now, it should work perfectly. ANd to think, Both of TR's drifting forum moderators are going to be representing Florida and Tampa on a National level!

Yeah, 90% of you don't understand drifting, and that's fine. But I'm pretty sure that when you see it in person, the high speed competitive stuff, you will more than likely change your mind that it's pretty freaking cool.

Regardless, things are rolling forward to make us the strongest force out of Florida, and possibly the East coast.

We have hopes of being the largest and most professional Non-Factory supported team. That means, we're privateers, but we want to be so prepared, ready, and professional, that we look like we are a factory team. This means that we will need to look hot when transporting the twin cars. Yes, we're bringing two cars across the USA, not just a single like most of our competition. And being that the cars are virtually identical, interchangeable parts makes alot of sense in keeping things simple and keeping costs down. How are we going to transport it you ask?


Yeah, we ordered a Renegade.
The way costs added up, it makes more sense to get the Renegade and sleep in that thing rather then stay in a Hotel all of the time. Oh, and it's a big rig, with room for three cars plus all of your equipment.



The twins will be transported in the rig, safe and sound. Did i mention since it's a dual level rig, complete with air compressor, welder, and generator, we'll have all of our tools and full service capability at our disposal. We opted for the internal lift just for that reason.

The formula D season puts us all over the US in 2005. Our stops go something like, Englishtown, NJ ; Atlanta, GA ; Houston TX ; Sonoma CA ; Chicago IL ; Irwindale CA

So we will see. In between those events we'll be doing a bunch of demos, and helping out other people learn to drift, and help promote drifting the correct way.

We'll be hoping for all of Florida's support in doing this, we're still hunting for more sponsors, but we'll release some big ones as the competition gets closer.

New Helmet
New Racing Suit - displeased with current Sparco
HANS system - I need to get fitted for one -
Shoes
Gloves
nomex underwear / balaclava

And a bunch of other things. We're working as much as we can on this, it seems like there's always stuff to do.
