use a fresh razorblade. no solution required. no soap. no water. a new blade will not scratch the glass.
you should ALWAYS use somthing, atleast water, glass cleaner is ideal, and cleans up easily (there will be sticky remnants somtimes) and even a new clean razor will scratch the glass
