none taken, but I'm going to guess you have never used it on your paint to remove tar. Its not ENAMEL thinner, I have used it numerous times on my truck. A rag with a small amount of lacquer thinner is safe, just spray some detailer wipe on it afterward.
I do keep her waxed though, that may help some. I have used it on friends cars when touching up paint chips, to wipe off any excess from the brush stroke.


d33flat - You may have a ghost image on your tint strip if you have one. I know my last truck did. The banner keeps the sun off the tint thats under it, so it fades uneven....you may want to opt for a new tint strip too.
