Leonard, why in the hell would you be changing tire pressure in most applications?
In most cases people add pressure for handling apps or lower pressure for drag apps to limit or allow tire distortion. In the case of adding air you are compromising your tire contact patch for the sake of sidewall stiffness. The tweel can give you the best of both worlds.
You appear to be missing the fact that if you get rid of the relationship between pressure and tire deflection you elminate the need to change tire pressure for performance apps.
As far as load bearing apps go, how many truck drivers do you know that change tire pressure depending on their loads?
