I think its been that way since the mid 90s. We were supposed to switch to the metric system and never did. Since 90% of the car is made from overseas parts, its nothing new

Figures. So how's that 5700cc LS1 treatin' ya? My 1972 5700cc motor still runs strong and the 1340cc engine in my Harley runs well. That's it, I'm converting everything I own to metric now. Maybe I should convert the Honda to SAE though? I have a 45ci Honda Magna now.
