help me out here then.....i have 2 kicker l7's 4ohm in a ported box,with a bd1000.there are two channels on the amp,but i know nothing about the amps(as far as ohms)so what would be the best way two run the subs off it?...right now i have one channel going to one voice coil on one of them,and the other channel going to the other sub.the two coils that have nothing to them(one on each sub) i was told to connect them with a jumper wire?

and the other quetion is would i be better with getting 2ohm l7's,and another bd1000.this way each sub has a seperate amp.

my setup is
alpine iva-d300 headunit
boston gt42 4 channel(highs)
2 pairs of boston pro60 front/back
bd1000
2 kicker l7's(4ohm)ported box
stinger cap
power amper-power meter(looks cool)
0guage into power meter-4guage to bd,and 2 8guage to boston
