Do the Trans Go. I installed one in my GFs car. It can get intimidating if you have never seen the inside of an auto tranny (like me), but it has step by step directions. The tape is more of a guide than a how to. Just dont use the 3 washers like people say. I spoke straight to Mike at Yank and a few others and they said one 2 if it is street driven and a stock tranny. Yes, 3 will shift harder, but a stock auto isnt made for the very hard engaugements and thats why they die. Just use 2 washers. It will also make the tranny live a better life because it wont float between shifts which creates alot of extra heat. The tranny cooler is a good idea, butnot a necessity if you dont have a stall.
The TransGo is nice 9and more expensive) because it has new revised valves, springs and is actually a COMPLETE kit, You do have to drill a couple holes bigger in the seperator plate, but NOT the valvebody itsself.
