i've got a DOHC that i just recently picked up for free (missing pieces, not complaining) and i want to do a decent build for my truck. is there anything special with the bottom end that i need to know before boosting the engine? from what i understand is that the stock internals can handle up to around 350hp and i don't really want to go pat 330hp. Another question i have is what the stock cams are rated to, i really dont feel like getting everything done just to break something. any help would be appreciated and if anyone has parts for a DOHC let me know.
