Ah ok. Well that will definately make a difference. The quotes you get online should be substantially more than if you were added to your parents' policy. Best thing to do is have your parents call up the policy service dept at their insurance company and ask what the increase would be if they added you to the policy.
Another potential way for you and your parental units to save money is if they add you as an excluded driver to their vehicles on the policy. So when you get a quote, you may want to ask "what if" you are an excluded driver on your parents' vehicles.
