If you dont find a suitable SOHC car Alan, look around for a cheap and clean DOHC car. that will eliminate the swap situation, and should most likely be accompanied with lower chassis mileage and newer condition. if u look hard you can find them.


+1 to never hearing about dohc head gasket issues, unless boosted, or severely beaten and overheated (i.e. not properly maintained most of the time).
