I'm guessing based on your vehicle list that its going on something without US standard threads on it

In that case, you can either drill and tap a location on the manifold (if you have coolant going through there), or like you said, get something that splits into the radiator hose. I don't know if something like that is made, but I could fab one up for you pretty cheap.
