now if you change the engine the car is not worth the same amount if it was orignal?

Why not just pick up a running RX7 paint it all white get your decals and your done, I don't see any point in a total rebuild of a numbered car that can never be put back to stock form, where the most value would be, unless you wasn't building the car for that purpose, then I guess it doesn't matter, just seems more expensive to put it back together, than to get a running car thats not missing everything.
Ok first of all.

1)10thAE are NOT numbered, they go by a vin spread, and only 1500 made/1 yr same color etc. etc

2)This car CAN be put back to stock form, another S413BT and other mising misc parts and im in there. The HARDEST thing to find, will be the bronzed tinted windshield.

3)it takes a little more than getting any white FC and putting "decals" on it to make it a wanna be 10th AE,I have done reserch on this in the past,I dont know offhand what the VIN spread is,but JOE2DMAX found a 10thAE about 2 yrs ago online for sale,we both went to look at it,and it was real,so he bought it.It needs work also, and doesnt have all the bronzed glass, but its still a 10thAE.

Everything that represents it to be a 10thAE is there besides the fender emblems/not decals .. and they are about $120. each, new

the 1 peice momo shifter boot and knob, was replaced long ago, something I wished I can still find.. it dont matter if I put a 13bRE in it and paint it orange, its still a 10th AnniversarryRX7
