Where are you trying to protect the bike? At home or around town?

At home, garage would be best. If you think they will steal it right out of the garage how about a bike brace? Bolted to the concrete floor and looks pretty rugged. It'll take them awhile to get through that, so hopefully by then, you'll see them and shoot their ass.

As for around town, it's almost impossible to try to protect the bike. No chain or lock is invincible. I just use a disc lock, push the handle bar to the left and put the ignition into position lock and park the bike in a highly visible area so people can see it.

Although, I really like some of Stealth's idea's. I'm definitely going to have to use some of those.
