For all of you import guys who say "It feels so good to beat a 5.0 in my 1.8", how you think I felt when I was stomping on turbo Honda's and SR20's that had THOUSANDS of dollars invested in them (i can make a long list of TR members), when all I had was a lid/filter. 2. For all the import guys saying "I can invest 15k in my Integra and beat Z06's". NONE of you guys have 15k to throw at your integra, so the point is null and void. Anybody with 15k in liquid cash lying around is not driving in a 89' Integra. They are probably in your STI's and EVO's, at which point the Cobra is still better bang for the buck.
3. Domestics cost 20-30k new, SPREAS OUT OVER 5-6 YEARS!!!!! Is that how long its gonna take you to build a fast Honda?? Not to mention I walked into CARMAX and bought my Z28 with no money down, no trade in. I didnt have a dollar in my pocket while I was there. I had a lid and filter put on the same day and was whooping import ass that weekend. Shit, I was running 12's before I made my first payment.
15k in parts can be achived in a year and a half specialy when your car is paid off!import guys like building stuff and SOME domestics owners want to rain on the parade because they think there dick is the size of their motor.i dont hate domestics,i like raggin on them for fun.but i guess all us import guys are poor huh?it takes more money to make ours fast then yours,so how the hell are we so broke?most kids have a car payment and hook up their ride at the same time.so if we have a cheap payment for a cheap car lets say ohhh 250 a month plus insurance and you have kids out their pushing civics with lets say 300-350 hp thats means someone has to have some cash even in the long run since the car payment will more then likey be an average 2-3 years for a used import depending on year and 5-6 for a new one!.....
