i dont know why everyone thinks it is sooo expensive to make an import fast.... it can cost you like 1500 for a clean shell 2000 for a motor swap (like Gsr). spend 2500 on a good turbo kit and 500 on good tires and suspension (500) and fuel management and you should see 12s all day in a civic... for a grand total of 7000$

which is far less then any newer domestic will cost withouit mods... (this is not including fox bodys and other older domestics.)

i personally think it is cheaper to go import route + i personally would rather drive a nimble car than a boat ( not including corvettes.) (but then your talking alot of money..)
