alot of it is that an impor is cheaper to insure.. and easier to handle for younger drivers.. they get into imports early for those reasons.. (reliability too) .. and tend to stick with what they know..
Thats pretty funny. I have owned many cars(20 or so) When i was 18 i bought a new civic like i have now. That was then and still 11 years later the most expensive car for me to insure. My 92 civic hatch costs more to insure then My Lexus LS400, Toyota Tundra V8, 4 runner, you name it. Civics are in the top 3 most stolen cars. I mess with imports because i have always likes them and i like the route less traveled. For how fast my car is now most of the cars i race have just as much money if not more then mine under the hood. Speed is expensive.
