And for our next installment...
I got the engine on the stand, we took off the oil pan, which took quite a bit of finesse. Immediatly we see a nice chunk of piston skirt sitting there. It had been bouncing around for who knows how long, and after some review of the internals... we find out it's cyl 2. Interestingly enough, this cylinder had perfect compression durring the testing. :o
Once we cleared that out and set the oil pan asside, we remove piston 1. I notice uppon inspection that the ringlands are indeed cracked.... not only cracked but CHUNKS are actually falling out as I rotate the piston.
So I remove 1 and 2 piston and rod, set them asside and start the clean up. While putting the oil pan asside, I hear a thunk.... Yet ANOTHER chunk of piston of unknown origin is sliding around in there. I get it out and set them both asside.
Yes. I have pix. I'll have to upload those later.

They're all too big, and Im getting out of here.
Amazingly the top of the pistons look brand new. It's crazy. The bearings all looked good as well, which is a good sign.
Thanks everyone, I found a couple pistons, from my friend Turbo-Max, who as always saves my ass.
I'll be ordering the parts monday and hopefully with any luck, the engine will be in and working by friday. I can't wait.
