Exactly. I grew up with my mother and father owning American muscle (mostly MOPAR, but grew into Mustang's in the late 80's). My vision of a dream car was, and still is, something with a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge emblem on the trunk lid and a nasty V8 under the hood. This is why I'd take a modified Mustang over a Porsche or some other exotic. While I do realize these exotics are wonderful machines, I prefer to seek the same speed/agility through other means more closely correlated to my childhood dream cars. Which probably explains why I have a shell of a Mustang sitting in my driveway.
