Jeff for the rotation thing the engine is turnewd 180 as compared to the neon/Omni. Jeff should know this.....Shelby did a AWD Daytona. Weismann transmissions made a torque splitter that bolts up to the back (side?) of the tranny. They also used a Dana 30 from the front end of the 4wd Eagles (80s) version mounted solidly to the frame and made a type of independent suspension for the rear. Just using an existing AWD setup would be easier

then trying to fab up something from like junkyard wars.
