I know this is gonna sound wierd, because I would like to sell this but......

Sounds like a wire feed would better suit your needs, if you plan on welding thinner metals. I use my MIG(wire feed) for just about everything now. I used this for heavier work, where I needed strong welds and didnt care how they look. Was mainly used for welding air suspension bag perches to rear axles.

This welder is adjustable down to 40 amps, but without a lot of practice, and a steady hand, would blow through most exhuast/intake piping.

Im in Clearwater if your still interested, but I would recommend looking into a MIG or Fluxcore wire feed if your just starting out.
