No need to rebuild .. The only thing the l28et lacks is stronger pistons. Go forged and nothing will break. Get a metal headgasket, arp head studs and the hg wont blow. That's about the only weakside of the motor. Stock rods are forged as well as the crank. You don't need to rebuild to throw a cam in and change turbo unless compression is off. To each his own...
