Local stock ls1 auto with 2.73 gears ran 13.0s and doesn't the a4 have a longer 1st gear?
I kind of get what you are saying but it just seems a longer 1st gear would help to me and as usual I'm being stuborn. 
Well the auto and manual are geared dirfferent and my extra 300 RPMs do not hurt either but I run 11.4's and still only manage to cut
a 1.8 short time on DR's :bbb:
