Nah, didn't mean it in a sneaky way...what I am saying is that the engines are not vin specific. They have a casting number on them for the roller block but I have yet to see a vin on one from ford. If so where were they located?

That and my point was the only diference in them was the cam shortblock wise. There was nothing special about the shortblock in the 93 Cobra. So if I bought a brand new block, some gt40 heads, intake and some crane rockers you could not tell if it was the original or not.
