the big thing is to get the tranny turned up so you can get all the oil away from the crack. it has to be very clean before the jb weld can bond properly! use brake cleaner to clean the crack very good, then blow it out with an air line. also use qwick jb weld, not the original kind! it works much better! if ya get the oil out and get it VERY clean, it'll work great!!! the only other cheap option is get a case from a core tranny at the junk yard, but if ya dont know how to build a tranny, you'll be havin some problems. lol the jb should work great though! oh yeah, since ya already tried it, make sure you get all of the old jb out too!!!!!
