An in-dash DVD/CD receivers are rip offs. Take a look:
$3000?!? Are they for real?!? (The cheap ones start at $1000!)
I am selling a car PC system.
This system costs way less then the most advanced in-dash DVD/CD receiver and still does way more stuff then the best in-dash DVD/CD receiver!
To get an idea of just some of the things you can do:
Watch DVDs
Watch any major format video and store it to the hard drive
Play all types of CD
Play any major audio format and store it to the hard drive
Play games
Internet
Burn CDs/DVDs
GPS navigation
Digital map directions
Listen to radio and TV
Display and gauges digitally (EX. Boost, oil, etc)
etc etc.
This system is custom built. It has everything you need to get you going. Here is what is included:
A 7 inch touchscreen LCD
400 WATT power inverter
Extension cables (if you want to run the system from the trunk)
Super thin LCD remote AND Navi-remote (Used for many functions and as a mouse, but you can use the touchscreen or a wireless mouse instead or both or all)
And the brains: DB1 computer system
(Intel 1Ghz processor (under clocked for overheat protection), 320MB of RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, 250 Watt PSU, DVD/CD-RW drive, and a TV tuner/Radio card.
Im selling this system for $625. Way less then a stupid in-dash DVD/CD receiver (I honestly think they are really ripping you off!) And still less then if you were to build one yourself. The screen comes in box and just has been tested. The computer comes NON ENCASED. This is so you can get the best one for your specific application.
I will help (if I get time off) with installation if needed. The system can fit in your glove box if its big or you can put it in your trunk off to the side. The LCD fits any standard dash and comes with mounting stuff if you need. If you dont want to use XP OS, I can install a Car PC OS.
If you have questions/comments, just reply. If you want to buy, PM me please.
