Considering the fact that they made over 900hp on a new version of an old motor, with all new technology and are the first ones ever to do it it is not really suprising about the price. I like how someone said "alot of domestics run that and are daily drivers and have more hp" yet it is kind of obvious that everything is cheaper for a domestic due to how many people own them, the ages of most domestics that can reach that goal yet they still end up costing about half as much. Which is no big deal when they have twice as much power/cylinders and so forth.

everything is cheaper because the same part will have to be replaced every 40k miles
