You'll hear it before you see it. After fixing an overheating problem by blasting the air out of the system with one of those flush kits, I took it out on a half-throttle stock boost run just to start checking for problems. The car's handling and ride is improved beyond belief by the new rims and tires over the crappy 50 dollar Cooper tires on the nt steelies. The biggest change was in power, it felt faster on stock boost than it had on 15 psi before

. I'm sure some of that is just getting used to the car again after so long driving the 18 second Pathfinder, but I picked up some good power.
But yeah, on the sound thing- the porting also made the thing even more insanely loud. Before it was loud, but now it's so loud that it's actually too loud for
my liking. I've got to get the stock exhaust/cutout combo installed ASAP, I think I'll call Race Related tomorrow because I can't wait on buying a welder. My neighbors are going to burn my damn car at this rate.
