Wedging something in the counterweights is not a very safe practice. You could distort the shape of one of the Main Bearings and cause yourself a problem in the future. Also , the tool to hold the crank pulley can be purchased off of most tool trucks, if you know someone that works at a shop you can have them get you one. I am pretty sure mine is Bluepoint (Snap-on). If you don't know anyone at a shop, go to one that does alot of work on imports and the techs will most likely have one, and with a generous deposit maybe let you use it. Then you just need a bigger cheater bar and it will definately come loose, unless you have girly arms.
