I have a seafoam green talon for sale. i just got done doing the rear brakes on it and getting it running after sitting for 8 months. Runs great, starts easily, doesnt smoke.

Yes, it has 36k original miles on it, verified by the Title. This car was bought new in June of 1992 and drivin for ~12000 miles.

The first owner was responsible for installing the 14B, STarion front mount and 450cc blue tops from the 5sp DSM's. it was traded in back in 1994 where the previous owner bought it for ~$12k and owned it all the way up until last month, when he got fed up with it not running and i bought it and fixed it.
what i did to it;
Replaced MPI relay
Replaced AFM
Replaced rear calipers
Replaced rear rotors
Replaced rear pads
Replaced dry rotted tires
pulled dents in front fenders

some how, the front fenders got pushed in by the doors and kept the doors from opening up all the way. If I keep it, ill end up replacing both panels and getting the car painted and having the front edges of the doors hammered-and-dollyed. also, the paint is sunfaded and the clear coat is shot in several places from being in the elements and lack of waxing.
only thing left for me to do is replace the front calipers before it is a 100% reliable car. Im probably going to try to pick some up tomorrow and update the post.
THIS CAR NEEDS NOTHING to be reliable. it has great oil pressure and does not over heat. does not make any weird noises. the T-belt is tight. If i keep it, ill probably put my RX7 away and drive this thing everday. With new front fenders and a fresh coat of paint, this car will be in MINT condition. youll be hard pressed to find another DSM with such low miles in this life time. The interior on this car is in great shape. no rips or tears or worn-away areas on the seats. dash and panels are not peeling or cracking.
with a boost controller, 3" turbo back and a fuel pump, this thing will run 13's. and if you are turned off by the fact its an Auto tranny, get one thing straight: you will NEVER shift faster than an AutoMagic. some of the fastest cars are AT-driven. consider the fact that you will have full power going to all wheels while the next guy in the stick shift will have ZERO power to his wheels each and every time he shifts; that is where this car is greater than a stick shift. plus, in-town stop and go driving is hassle-free.
this car was produce in May of 1992, BEFORE the mid-year cut off. this is still a 6-bolt motor, not a 7 bolt. virtually no risk of crank walk. it is also equipped with the 4-bolt rear end and LSD diff.
I may be willing to work out a price in leiu of the appearance flaws, aside from that, this car is PERFECT.... more perfecter than just about any other 1G AWD currently for sale.
