glad i have an extra TT tranny in my garage in case my SR one craps out, along with lighten fly and HD clutch. i woundn't htink twice about tossing that in there is this kit works out.
the starter is so easy to get to vrs the SR/ka it isn't funny.
of course a custom DS would be needed sense the Z's out put shaft is larger.
i wonder what the odds are that a NA drive shaft would fit.
The na drive shaft won't fit. That's one thing that has to be made. The advantage of having to do a drive shaft is you can make it a one peice, which is what I did. You don't have to do a special drive shaft just a one piece drive which is stronger than the two piece. As for the starter we retained the sr starter and just built the adaptor plate to accomodate.
I think the ka/sr is rated up to 350 without a slipping clutch. With a slipping clutch I know enjuku is running theirs on stock transmisssions with their 2nd car(not the red one) and are going through transmissions. The 350z trans should hold 600-650 rwhp without a slipping clutch. I just wanted over kill with the 300z trans holding 850-950 rwhp.
