Hmmmmm.... I call BS.
Some agencies require you to sign a document stating that you WILL NOT use the vehicle on the track. If you signed this, and you goto the track, yes, you are screwed.
BUT, the MAJORITY of polices simply read that you are not covered WHILE the car is on the track.
Most Ins companies (especially claims) will try to pull some "your not covered becuase you took it to the track 2 years ago"...but in all fairness....they can't. This is when you READ YOUR POLICY, and maybe even visit the STATE INSURANCE COMMISIONERS office.
