Its not silly. It just plain works. I dont know If I would do an all out race build in this configuration....but to be used just as the kit comes...its great. 400-500 rwhp in a short time with a big fancy bolt on...thats a great thing. Throttle response is probably comprimised slightly...but dont forget....its still a 10.1 to 1 compression V8 LS1 that makes 300+ at the wheels NA anyways....its only up from there as boost climbs.
