In 02-03 year model Spec-V's the pre-cat was a problem if the pre-cat broke up the motor would inhale that stuff from the pre-cat causing oil starvation = blown and under warranty Nissan replaced alot of motors of course correcting the pre cat failure that is not to say that is exactly what happened to this one but i am pretty sure.
