However, I actually hope GM makes the new 6.4 V8, which would be going in the GTO and Corvette, because thats as close as you can get to the original motor displacement-wise.

1964-1967 & 1968-1972, there was only one major redesign...the bodies changed subtley from year to year.
There "3rd gen" would be the new GTO's
