Ive said it before and Ill say it again.

The good old close knit Subaru community went to shit with the US release of the WRX.

I used to be able to drive in my Ver 5 replica RS and wave to other Subaru owners (including another RS on the odd chace I would see another one) and I would get a wave back or thumbs up. Half the time we would pull over and shoot the shit.

Now I dont bother when I see a WRX. I used to wave but I would either get the finger or the guy would downshift to show how big his balls were. I dont dare pull over and talk to some of the people anymore with out having my HK USP .45 in my lap.

STi owners seem to be a little older and more mature and level-headed.

I get along with very few WRX owners, meaning people I would associate with outside of work. Leslie, Mantra1, and Dirt Man to name a few, and most of tose people started out with the RS.
