There ya go!! It's the repellant part...it's repelling the water right out onto the ground. I'd still suspect the dowels being wopper jawed in there. There's not a whole lot of gasket material in that area so it doesn't take much of a gap to leak. Dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Did you use an good torque wrench to torq down the heads? What torq numbers did you use?
