Ive had a coolant leak ever since i put the top half of the motor back together. Ive just thought it was a heater core line or something in that area that was just pissing out whenever the rpms reach above 3k. ne ways i changed the heater core lines today since the coolant trail is going down the bellhousing. i asked a buddy of mine to come over and rev the car up to 4k for me to check out if theres ne more leaks. i saw that the passenger side head cyl #4 right by the last head bolt is PIssing out a good amount of coolant and is steaming from contact with the header. I used teflon when i put the head bolts in. brand new arp bolts. wtf. i guess it didnt seal right or i didnt get enough teflon on that last head bolt? i just dont understand why coolant it all the way on top of the bellhousing from a leak that is happening all the way down by the header. is this an easy fix where i just pull the vavle cover and header and re torque the head bolt? or am i looking at something thats gonna make me angry
feel free to chim in ur ideas.
thanks in advanced
