I removed mine because one of the hard lines connecting to the ABS unit cracked. IT would have been nearly impossible to replace that line by itself. A side bonus is that it does clear up a lot of room in the engine bay, and allows more room for IC piping and such. I did the job myself and it really wasnt all that difficult, just fairly time consuming. You can get everything you need from a junkyard. I also noticed improved braking feel with the ABS removed
