Back from Moffit.
So far so good. The surgery went well and they only had to remove a few extra lymph nodes in addition to the mass of cancer.
Preliminary tests looks like they got all of it and it had not spread elsewhere but the rest of the tests will not be back for up to 10 days to guarantee that.
She is somewhat over the hump and will begin radiation in a few weeks. I feel somewhat relieved but being the worry prone person I am I will not feel 100% until those other tests come back.
What a life altering event this has been for me since I have never had any other health issues like this with any other family members. And it is two fold, first of course all of this going on with my mother and secondly going into Moffit for the first time and seeing all of the people that are riddled with cancer.

For those of you that have been through something like this, hats off to you for making it through it and being strong.
Once again I can not thank you guys enough for all of your kind words and prayers, it looks like they did not go unanswered.
Now its time to shave off this beard and get some rest.
