boost is just a term...its airflow that matters...6psi this, 7psi that, its just how much your pressurizing the intake.

if your going to rebuild and stroke the motor then id say,

callies dragonslayer 3.75" crank (if using a blower, get it keyed aswell as the hub)
nice forged 5.7" rods
dished forged .030" over pistons.
melling oil pump
and big cam...that about does it for the bottom end.

how much you lookin to spend, i picked my setup up cheap but took a long time...and IMO aftercoolers are overated with the other alternatives there are to use.

a good reliable setup, with alot of power, is going to cost ya atleast 10k...so have 15 to spend.

i also have to ask, how much do you know about what your wanting to do?
