Default money to spend, need drift stuff!!!

I'm sortof caught in a pickle.... please don't flame because I've researched my ass off on what to get and still can't decide....

right now my car has:
intake
exhaust
tein coilovers

I am pretty heavy into drifting right now, and I need an lsd badly, and am going to do a 300zx brake upgrade in the semi-near future.

I have cast an eye on the kaaz 2 way lsd, but I would think $900 would be a lot for a diff. I heard there is no comparison between a clutch pack and vlsd... but the prices are drastically different. I have also heard that these things last a long time... A lot of people don't think I need it because I'm just starting out, but I know I'm going to drop the money for one in the future anyway, so I figure that I could save some time and money by getting it now. I am getting a cage and a few things this winter, so I am going to get pretty serious about it. Is a kaaz too much for me now?

With a vlsd, either the r200 or the j30, I have heard that you can grind the output shafts of an open diff and it'll work just fine. Do you need a vlsd case to drop a vlsd core into, or will it fit into an open diff case? I know vlsd's are good for beginners, but when you get to higher HP, they just look dumb. I know vlsd's are all over the place for like $250-$300, but all I can find on ebay is mostly just the cores, and only a few have cases and fewer have 6 bolt output shafts. I realize that I'll have a lot of extra money to spend if I get a vlsd, might be put to better use for some tires or entry fees or something.

I know there are many other good clutch pack type lsd's out there, including ones from tomei, nismo and cusco, but I usually see the Kaaz name the most.... I just don't know.

The good ole welded diff is free, but my family would hang me for having a permanent 2 way. I have heard many good things about welded diffs, that they are good to learn on and etc. But I do have the money for something better.

So, kaaz, vlsd, or other? (I'm just starting out also..... take that into mind)
