All I have to say is that anyone who thinks porting doesnt do anything is an idiot. Why do you think that every rotary race car that there has ever been has been ported in some way or another if aloud in its racing classification? Rotaries that run in the six and seven second range do so with ported engines. You can make over 350 hp out of a peripheral ported NA 13b, and run in the high 9s in a stock bodied 1st gen. if its tuned right. Lets see that happen with a stock ported engine.
