i love arguing with you guys its like everyone just ignores numbers and 1/4 mile times and power to weight ratios.
Power to weight means little to nothing otherwise we would all be driving motorcyles.
and also the mustang cobra is the only mustang with independent rear suspension. and how many people on this board have a mustang cobra and not a mustang gt?
Wrong again ! The new Cobras have live rear axles and there are many Cobras on the board.
havent seen many mustangs running low 13s or high 12s and when they do its with slicks.
I run 12.80s on shitty hard-ass radials (not drag radials or sticky race radials) And it is a 5-speed car which makes it even harder. I will soon be much faster and still w/o a power adder or crazy cam. The record for a radial tire Mustang in the the mid 8s ! And it is not a tube car. And that is in the 1/4 mile not 1/8th !

Do me some power to weight ratios on that shit will ya please. Or find me a import that is within a few seconds of that please.
my point the numbers do not lie. so anyone who can prove otherwise show me some numbers and show me some 1/4 mile times in daily driven mustangs on daily driven tires.
