hello tampa racing i am a new member and have to this point not been a member of any car group of any sort this web site seems to have some people with good heads on their shoulders and i look forward to being able to come to some of the events tied to this web site. there is not a lot done to my car yet as i have not had much money to this point but i have not let that deter me from the great plans i have for her. By the way I drive a 2000 Ford Focus LX with a plain-jane 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engine under the hood. Her name is Focus ( I know thats such an original name) and noone should be frightened if i talk to her in the third person. I am an aspiring race car driver and firmly believe that in order to be a good racer you should have a good relationship with your vehicle. Plans include and are not limited to a new aerodynamics kit new engine w/ supercharger kit intake exhaust new interior seating and trim sound system paint job (she is red now but will soon be silver with red trim and carbon fiber components) and new light kits. If anyone knows where I can find a deal on parts and stuff please feel free to let me know as this is a huge undertaking and I will take any help afforded to me. My youth pastor is helping me with all of the body work through his shop- Harrys Body Shop located in Tampa on Causeway Blvd. They do a quality job there and Harry is a great guy.
