no, dont use the interior paint that they sell at autozone!ive done mine 3 times and the final time has held longer then any other and still loks good, if it is hard plastic the stuff from auyozone chipps and can even bubble under the sun, go to home depot its called painters touch by rust-olem. the paint is for outdoor plastic patio chairs, the the plastic primer, a few coats of paint and then use the same clear it works awsome and when fully dry it is extremely hard to chip off if you can get it to chip.
