Will a more efficient compressor from say a VQ or a VH???(the v- take care of the problem? If it mounts up without to much trouble i would think it would operate more efficiently cause its designed to cool a larger volume of cabin space. So if it were to be used for less space there would be less time the compressor would actually be running and draining power from the motor. I remember on my CRX the compressor was so shitty it would make the car run like a 2 legged turtle when the a/c was on. But in my Celica(larger compressor) with near the same hp rating there is little change from when the a/c is on and when its not.

The good thing is that you still get better gas milage than the GM beast
