BTW, turboing the VQ is no more expensive than any other engine. A good kit that has proven 350hp to the wheels will set you back about 3,500-4,000. Now add the cost of an engine 350 and and ecu 50 engine wire harness 100 your looking at 4k-4.5k. You can put together your own kit cheaper though.
Tuning the car is just like any other turbo car with the exception of a few creative ideas that some pioneers before you have figured out. Until someone takes the time to beable to rewrite the codes for these cars it will take just a little bit of creativity to get more power.
Now keep in mind that to the best of my knowledge knowone has made i serious attempt to build a serious motor for power. There are some in the works, but they are taking there time.
